Account Assistant

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Account Assistant to handle day-to-day accounting and office finance-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records and transactions.
• Prepare and record sales and purchase invoices.
• Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Record receipts, payments, expenses and journal entries.
• Perform customer and supplier ledger reconciliations.
• Follow up on outstanding customer payments.
• Verify supplier invoices and payment details.
• Maintain proper records of bills, vouchers and other accounting documents.
• Prepare basic reports and statements as required by management.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers and the internal team regarding accounts-related matters.
• Support the senior accountant/management in day-to-day accounting activities.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in accounting/accounts assistant role preferred.
• Knowledge of Tally / Tally Prime is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of GST, invoicing.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Good communication and follow-up skills.
• Should be accurate, responsible and willing to learn.
• Candidates from Bangalore preferred.
