Job Description

  • Assess patients' physical and emotional health and develop individualized nursing care plans.
  • Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition, reporting any changes promptly.
  • Assist physicians during examinations, procedures, and emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records and nursing documentation.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care.
  • Ensure infection prevention and control protocols are followed.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized patient care environment.
  • Respond effectively to medical emergencies and provide basic or advanced life support as required.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Adhere to hospital policies, nursing standards, and ethical guidelines.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, training programs, and continuing education.
