Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Testing & Inspection: Inspect incoming raw materials (copper wire, laminations, magnets, castings) and perform end-of-line functional and performance testing on assembled motors.
- Process Control: Monitor motor winding, varnishing, machining, and assembly workflows using Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Investigate internal failures or customer rejections (e.g., short circuits, bearing noise, vibration issues) and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Auditing: Conduct internal process and product audits to verify adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality management systems.
- Supplier Quality: Collaborate with procurement and suppliers to assess incoming component quality and resolve vendor non-conformances.
- Tooling & Documentation: Maintain documentation using core tools like7 QC TOOLS, FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
