Production Supervisor

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Modular Factory Supervisor to manage day-to-day factory production and ensure work is completed on time with proper quality and minimum wastage.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise daily modular furniture production.
• Allocate work to cutting, edge-banding, boring, assembly and helper teams.
• Monitor production according to drawings, measurements and cut lists.
• Ensure correct cutting, edge banding, boring and assembly.
• Check material quality, dimensions and finished-product quality.
• Coordinate with designers, site supervisors and installation teams.
• Monitor material usage and minimize wastage.
• Maintain daily production targets and work schedules.
• Identify production delays and solve issues quickly.
• Ensure machines are operated safely and properly.
• Maintain factory discipline, cleanliness and safety.
• Check completed modules before dispatch to site.
• Prepare/send a daily production and manpower report to management.
• Take responsibility for production timelines and output.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of modular furniture manufacturing.
• Practical knowledge of plywood/MDF, laminates, edge banding and modular hardware.
• Understanding of cutting lists and modular drawings.
• Ability to manage workers and allocate tasks.
• Ability to identify production and measurement errors.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic WhatsApp/reporting skills.
• Should be willing to take ownership and work independently.

Salary: ₹30,000–₹45,000 per month

Depending on experience and capability.
