Job Description
- Key Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance and urgent repairs on electrical systems, plumbing lines, carpentry, painting, and minor civil works.
- Carry out regular preventive maintenance checks and inspections.
- Respond promptly to facility-related service requests or complaints.
- Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical faults including lighting, switches, fans, and sockets.
- Handle plumbing issues such as leaks, blockages, and tap or flush repairs.
- Assist in carpentry tasks including door, window, and furniture repair.
- Maintain HVAC systems – basic servicing, filter cleaning, and temperature checks.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors when required.
- Ensure tools, spare parts, and materials are maintained in good condition.
- Maintain records of tasks completed and submit reports to the supervisor.
- Adhere to safety protocols and report potential hazards immediately.
- Support event setups and campus reconfiguration activities as needed.
- Qualifications and Experience:ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, or relevant technical field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in facility maintenance.
- Knowledge of basic tools and repair equipment.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple technical jobs.
- Basic understanding of safety standards and emergency protocols.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
