Lab Technician

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our healthcare team. The candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory tests, handling samples, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with laboratory quality and safety standards.

• Key ResponsibilitiesCollect, receive, label, and process patient samples as per established protocols.
• Perform routine laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures accurately.
• Handle blood, urine, and other biological samples safely.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Ensure proper sample storage and disposal as per safety guidelines.
• Record test results accurately and maintain laboratory documentation.
• Perform quality checks and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Coordinate with doctors, phlebotomists, and other healthcare teams when required.
• Identify and report any discrepancies, damaged samples, or abnormal results to the concerned team.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards within the laboratory.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory and healthcare regulations.
• RequirementsQualification: B.Sc. / DMLT / BMLT or equivalent qualification in Medical Laboratory Technology.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience; freshers with relevant qualifications may apply.
• Good knowledge of laboratory procedures and sample handling.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts.
