About the Role

We are looking for an Admissions Counsellor responsible for counselling prospective students, understanding their career goals, explaining our BFSI career programs, handling objections, and converting qualified leads into paid admissions.

The ideal candidate should be confident on calls, target-oriented, persuasive, and comfortable discussing paid career-development programs with students and working professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound leads generated through Meta, Google, WhatsApp and other channels.
• Contact prospective candidates and understand their education, experience, career goals and financial expectations.
• Explain BFSI career programs, eligibility, curriculum, duration, fees and career opportunities.
• Conduct structured counselling calls and follow-ups.
• Handle objections related to course fees, paid programs, placement, location, eligibility and career outcomes.
• Explain available payment/financing options wherever applicable.
• Convert qualified leads into paid admissions.
• Maintain regular follow-up through calls and WhatsApp.
• Update lead status, follow-ups and conversion data in CRM/lead tracker.
• Coordinate with the training and placement team after admission.
• Maintain accurate daily activity and conversion reports.
• Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets.
• Follow up with candidates until payment and documentation are completed.

Candidate Profile

• Graduate / Undergraduate with good communication skills.
• Freshers can apply; experience in EdTech, telecalling, inside sales, admissions counselling, BFSI or recruitment is preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication and convincing skills.
• Comfortable making a high volume of calls every day.
• Strong follow-up and objection-handling ability.
• Target-oriented and self-motivated.
• Basic knowledge of WhatsApp, Google Meet, CRM and MS Office/Google Workspace.
• Ability to explain paid programs confidently without misleading candidates.

Target

Primary KPI: Paid Admissions & Revenue

Candidates will be expected to consistently achieve monthly admission targets through effective counselling, follow-up and conversion.

Compensation

Fixed Salary + Performance Incentives

Incentives will be linked to successful paid admissions and revenue generated.
