Job Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting entries in Tally Prime.
• Prepare sales and purchase invoices.
• Maintain purchase, sales, receipts, payments and journal entries.
• Handle GST compliance and filing.
• Prepare and reconcile GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and other applicable GST returns.
• Reconcile GSTR-2B with purchase records.
• Maintain and verify GST input/output tax records.
• Handle e-invoicing and e-way bills, wherever applicable.
• Perform bank reconciliation.
• Maintain customer and supplier ledgers.
• Track accounts receivable and payable.
• Follow up/coordinate regarding customer outstanding payments.
• Check vendor bills and purchase entries.
• Prepare monthly accounting and outstanding reports.
• Assist with TDS calculations and filings, where applicable.
• Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants and management when required.
• Ensure timely completion of accounting and statutory compliance activities.
• Required SkillsStrong knowledge of Tally Prime.
• Good understanding of GST and GST filing.
• Knowledge of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciliation.
• Knowledge of e-invoicing and e-way bills.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Understanding of debit/credit, ledgers, reconciliation and basic accounting principles.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to independently manage day-to-day accounts.
• Preferred ExperienceExperience in wholesale/trading/distribution businesses preferred.
• Experience handling multiple customers and suppliers.
• Experience coordinating with CA/tax consultants.
• Experience with inventory-related accounting is an advantage.
