Sakthi Battery Service is looking for a responsible, hardworking and hands-on Battery & Auto Electrical Technician to join our team at our Avadi battery shop.

💼 POSITION

Battery & Auto Electrical Technician – Bike / Car / Inverter

💰 SALARY

₹12,000 – ₹15,000 per month

Final salary will be based on technical skills, experience and interview performance.

🔧 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Two-wheeler battery replacement and installation

• Car battery replacement and installation

• Inverter battery replacement and installation

• Battery testing and basic diagnosis

• Bike and car jump-start service

• Check battery terminals and connections

• Check basic charging and starting systems

• Identify basic battery and starting problems

• Attend nearby doorstep battery replacement and service calls

• Assist customers in understanding battery-related problems

• Safely handle, carry and install batteries

• Maintain service tools and equipment

• Assist with basic shop activities during non-service periods

• Assist with battery handling and stock movement

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

🛠️ SKILLS & EXPERIENCE PREFERRED

• Basic experience in two-wheeler battery replacement

• Basic experience in car battery replacement

• Inverter battery experience is preferred

• Knowledge of battery testing and charging voltage

• Basic knowledge of bike and car electrical systems

• Experience in jump-start service is preferred

• Knowledge of fuse, relay, starter motor and wiring is an advantage

• Basic knowledge of inverter battery connections

• OBD scanner knowledge is an added advantage

• Willingness to attend nearby doorstep service calls

• Ability to safely handle and install batteries

• Good communication skills in Tamil

• Honest, punctual, responsible and willing to learn

Freshers with basic automobile or electrical knowledge may also be considered if they are willing to learn.

📌 WORK NATURE

The technician will primarily work from our battery shop in Avadi.

Service requests may vary throughout the day. During non-service periods, the technician will remain available at the shop and assist with customer support, battery handling, stock movement and basic shop activities.

The technician may also be required to attend nearby doorstep battery replacement, jump-start and service calls.

⏰ WORKING HOURS

Monday to Saturday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Alternate Sunday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
