WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a Procurement Manager who can take complete ownership of the

organisation's procurement and supply chain activities, including the procurement of goats, feed,

materials for farm operations. We are looking for someone who understands the importance

of cost optimisation, supplier reliability, quality standards, and timely availability of essential

farm inputs.

The ideal candidate is organised, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of independently b

handling multiple responsibilities. You should have strong knowledge of procurement practices,

vendor management, cost analysis, and supply chain coordination. Experience in agriculture,

livestock, animal feed, veterinary supplies, or farm-related procurement will be preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

▪ Develop and manage procurement plans for

goats and farm supplies.

▪ Source, procure, and manage the

acquisition of goats in line with breeding and

operational requirements.

▪ Source, evaluate, and manage reliable

suppliers and vendors.

▪ Negotiate prices, contracts, payment terms,

and delivery schedules.

▪Ensure timely availability of quality materials

for farm operations.

▪ Monitor market prices and identify cost-

saving opportunities.

▪ Manage purchase orders, invoices, and

procurement documentation.

▪ Maintain optimal stock levels and prevent

shortages or wastage.

▪Ensure quality standards and compliance of

all purchased materials per SOP.

▪ Prepare procurement reports, budgets, and

supplier performance analysis.

▪ Build long-term supplier relationships and

improve supply chain efficiency.

▪ Travel extensively for work as required.
