Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities;
- Responsible for complete Electrical Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance of all plant machinery, equipment, substations, transformers, generators, motors, panels and installations.
- Ensure uninterrupted power supply and attend electrical breakdowns and emergencies promptly, including essential-duty calls when required.
- Maintain statutory requirements, records, registers and coordinate with Electrical Inspectors, MES and other authorities.
- Ensure availability and minimum stock of essential electrical spares, consumables, tools and maintenance materials.
- Maintain equipment history, breakdown records, preventive maintenance schedules, job work details and inspection reports.
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns, maintenance costs and production interruptions.
- Ensure strict electrical safety practices, including proper isolation, lockout/tagout, warning boards and supervision of HT/Substation work.
