Sales Engineer

The Sales Engineer role as a combination of technical sales, customer handling, and service coordination:

• Understand customer requirements and recommend the right liquid filling machine.
• Generate leads through calls, WhatsApp, email, social media and other channels.
• Prepare technical quotations and proposals based on customer requirements.
• Explain machine specifications, working, features and benefits to customers.
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations.
• Handle technical queries and provide suitable solutions.
• Follow up with customers from inquiry → quotation → negotiation → order closure.
• Coordinate with production and design teams for customized machine requirements.
• Support the sales team during customer meetings and discussions.
• Provide video-call support for basic technical queries when required.
• Maintain customer data, follow-up records and sales activities in ERP/CRM.
• Prepare sales reports, inquiry reports and follow-up reports.
• Develop long-term relationships with B2B customers.
• Visit customers for technical discussions, demonstrations and requirement analysis when required.
• Assist the service team in understanding customer requirements and machine applications.
• During free time, support production, machine testing, assembly and other technical activities.

Ideal profile: Engineering/Diploma background with good communication, technical understanding, sales ability and willingness to learn. Freshers with good communication and technical skills can also apply.
