Purchase Engineer

e are looking for an ideal candidate for our “Purchase Engineer” post in Ahmedabad. The primary responsibilities of the candidate would be to -

• Seek reliable vendors or suppliers to provide quality goods at reasonable prices negotiating prices and contracts reviewing technical specifications for raw materials, components, equipment or buildings determining quantity and timing of deliveries.
• Quality check all the inward materials
• Preparing estimates and budgets.
• Creating accurate project specifications.
• Support engineering teams, draw up safety protocols, report issues to the manager, and develop strategies to improve efficiency and profit
• Need to be involved in stock maintenance and any other process related to purchase

7. Will have to travel throughout India and globally as required.

To fulfill above mentioned responsibilities, the candidate should have -

• Mechanical engineer degree
• Understanding manufacturing processes
• Greater understanding of drawing of AutoCAD.
• Understanding of design and production costs to include waste, downtime, scrap and re-work
• One year or more of professional experience will be a plus.
• We require a self -managed individual with ambition to grow, has attention to detail and has ability to think out of the box.

The range for the salary is INR 25,000 per month. The actual salary will be offered based on the relevant experience and existing CTC.
