Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Design & Engineering team at Premix Technologies. Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and modifying mechanical equipment, components, structures, and systems as per project and manufacturing requirements.

• Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and develop 2D and 3D mechanical designs using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Prepare detailed manufacturing, fabrication, and assembly drawings.
• Design and develop mechanical equipment, components, structures, and assemblies.
• Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and other design documentation.
• Understand engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and technical specifications.
• Modify existing designs based on manufacturing and project requirements.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Quality, and other departments for smooth project execution.
• Provide technical solutions to design and manufacturing-related problems.
• Ensure designs are practical, accurate, cost-effective, and suitable for manufacturing.
• Review and verify drawings before releasing them for production.
• Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, and design documents.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Perform other design and engineering activities as assigned by Management.
• Required SkillsBasic to strong knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Good understanding of Mechanical Design and Engineering Drawings.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Knowledge of BOM preparation and design documentation.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Freshers should have a willingness to learn and develop their technical skills.

• Mechanical Engineering qualification is preferred.
• Candidates with experience in industrial equipment, machinery, fabrication, or similar mechanical design work will be preferred.
• Freshers with knowledge of SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and mechanical design fundamentals are encouraged to apply.
• Candidate should be willing to work from office at Vatva GIDC, Ahmedabad.
