Job Description – Site Engineer (Interior Projects)

Position: Site Engineer – Interior Projects

Location: Ahmedabad

We are seeking a proactive and responsible Site Engineer to manage the execution of residential and commercial interior projects. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling site operations, coordinating with clients and vendors, ensuring timely material availability, and maintaining project quality from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with clients regarding project progress, design execution, and site-related discussions.
• Supervise day-to-day interior site execution and ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings.
• Plan and coordinate material procurement, delivery, and inventory at the site.
• Hand over drawings to contractors and explain execution details clearly.
• Coordinate with carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters, fabricators, and other vendors.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality, workmanship, and safety standards.
• Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion of milestones.
• Resolve on-site technical issues and communicate updates to the design and management teams.
• Prepare daily/weekly site progress reports and maintain project documentation.
• Verify measurements, quantities, and completed work for billing and approvals.
• Ensure proper execution as per design specifications and client requirements.
• Maintain effective communication among clients, vendors, suppliers, and internal teams.

Requirements

• Diploma/B.E. in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
• 1–5 years of experience in interior project execution (residential/commercial preferred).
• Ability to read and understand architectural, interior, and working drawings.
• Good communication, client-handling, and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of interior materials, hardware, finishes, and execution processes.
• Strong planning, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an added advantage.
• Willingness to travel for site visits. Own two-wheeler preferred.
