Field Sales Executive

Job Purpose:

To identify potential clients, promote company services, generate leads, and support the business development team in acquiring and retaining customers related to DGFT, Customs, and Export–Import compliance services.

Roles & Responsibilities:

* Identify and approach prospective clients who require services such as IEC Registration, EPCG License, Advance Authorization, MEIS/SEIS claims, Duty Refunds, and other DGFT/Customs-related compliance support.

* Conduct direct visits, cold calls, email campaigns, and networking to generate leads and convert them into active clients.

* Present company service offerings, explain processes, and clarify basic documentation requirements to clients.

* Coordinate with internal documentation/operations teams to ensure smooth processing of client applications and service execution.

* Maintain client follow-up schedules, track lead status, and update CRM/lead tracker regularly.

* Support the BD Manager in preparing quotations, proposals, and service agreements.

* Collect necessary documents from clients and ensure accurate submission for processing.

* Maintain relationships with existing clients to generate repeat business and referrals.

* Stay informed about basic DGFT/Customs scheme updates to explain benefits to clients.

* Prepare and submit daily/weekly MIS reports on leads, meetings, conversions, and follow-ups.

Skills & Competencies Required:

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Confidence in client interaction and field visits.

* Ability to learn trade-related schemes and explain them to clients.

* Good negotiation and relationship-building ability.

* Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Email).

* Self-motivated, target-driven, and task-oriented.

Experience:

6+ Years of experience in Sales / Marketing / Business Development

Fresher is also okay.

Language Proficiency:

English and Hindi (Required)

Local Language proficiency is an added advantage.

Work Conditions:

Field travel for client visits required.

Flexibility to meet clients beyond office hours when necessary.
