Enviornment Executive

Engineer should bridge the gap between technical environmental engineering and hands on

workplace safety, specifically highlighted Legal EHS compliance and a preferred PDIS or an

equivalent state board recognized safety diploma.

A. Educational Profile & Qualifications

 Core Degree: B.E. / B.Tech in Environmental Engineering

 Preferred Certification: PDIS (Post Diploma in Industrial Safety) or an equivalent state

board recognized safety diploma.

B. Core Legal & Regulatory Knowledge

Look for experience in:

 Statutory Consents & Legal: Proven track record of handling EC-CTE-CTO renewals,

amendments, hazardous waste authorizations and to prepare their compliance reports as

per Water Act-Air Act-EP Act & HWs Rules.

 Safety Compliance as per GFA-GFR: Gujarat Factory Act-1948 & Rules regarding

occupational health and safety provisions

 Assist: Experience in drafting responses for regulatory bodies like the GPCB / CPCB / MoEF

/ DISH /GIDC / NCB and other like GREEN/NOVEL/CETP etc.

 Preparing and submitting annual returns on XGN and related online portals. (e.g., Form V

Environmental Statement, Form IV Hazardous Waste returns, Audits & Compliance)

 Can be joined with Government agencies to conduct safe plant visit / office visit.

C. Key Job Responsibilities (EHS Assistant Role)

With 3 to 5 years of experience, this person should be manages daily operations, support and

prepare documentations in ISO-Ecovadis & Other ongoing certificate while reporting directly to

the Chief EHS & Sustainability Officer.

Environmental Management

 EMS Operations: Monitoring the EMS performance and data logs of the ETP / STP / MEE

/HWs / Scrubbers/Stacks of all sites.

Industrial Safety (Preferable)

 Risk Assessments: Aware about study and conducting Job JSA, HAZOP and Risk

Assessments for routine and non-routine tasks.

 Incident Investigation: Assisting the EHS Head / Team in investigating near-misses,

Incidents or accidents, finding root causes (RCA), and implementing CAPA.
