AutoCAD Draughtsman

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Draughtsman with knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks to prepare accurate 2D drawings and 3D models for manufacturing and product development. Freshers with strong technical skills and candidates with up to 1 year of experience are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare 2D technical drawings using AutoCAD.

* Create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings in SolidWorks.

* Modify and update drawings as per engineering changes.

* Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and fabrication/manufacturing drawings.

* Ensure drawings comply with company standards and specifications.

* Coordinate with the design, production, and quality teams.

* Maintain drawing revisions and documentation.

Qualifications

* Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

* Certification or training in AutoCAD and SolidWorks is preferred.

Skills Required

* Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D).

* Basic to intermediate knowledge of SolidWorks (Parts, Assemblies, and Drawings).

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

* Knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing processes is an advantage.

* Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

* Strong attention to detail.

Experience

* Freshers: Good knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks with academic or project experience.

* 1 Year Experience: Hands-on experience in preparing engineering drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
