Account Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Assistant to support the finance department in managing daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate will assist with accounts payable and receivable, maintain accurate financial records, perform bank reconciliations, and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions.
• Process supplier invoices and customer payments.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare payment vouchers, invoices, and receipts.
• Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and filing systems.
• Prepare GST/VAT/TDS and other statutory documentation as required.
• Support payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and management reports.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and vendor queries.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned by the Finance Manager.
