HR Manager

Sheelpe Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. manufactures **Aava Natural Mineral Water** at our bottling plant in Hansol, Ahmedabad. We are establishing a formal HR and Administration function and need a hands-on person to build and run it.

Sole in-charge of HR and Administration for a plant workforce of **250–350 people**, covering both office/admin staff and labour staff, across shifts including night shift.

Responsibilities

• Complete statutory compliance — the four Labour Codes (Wages, Social Security, Industrial Relations, OSH), PF, ESI, professional tax, labour welfare fund, POSH. Registrations, returns, registers, inspections and liaison with authorities.

• Contract labour control — contractor licences, principal-employer registers, verification that contractors are paying statutory dues.

• Time office and payroll — shift rosters, attendance, overtime, leave, monthly payroll inputs, bonus, gratuity, full and final settlements.

• Recruitment and onboarding for staff and workmen; maintaining a trained relief pool so no shift runs short.

• Employee relations and discipline — grievance handling, show-cause notices, domestic enquiries, maintaining discipline on the shop floor.

• Food-safety HR duties — annual medical fitness certificates for all food handlers, personal hygiene compliance, FoSTaC-certified Food Safety Supervisors, and training records that stand up in FSSAI, BIS (IS 13428) and customer audits.

• General administration — security, housekeeping, canteen, transport, uniforms, vendor contracts.

• Monthly HR MIS to management — headcount, attrition, absenteeism, overtime, wage cost, compliance status.

What we are looking for

• Graduate. MBA / MSW / PGDBM in HR, or a Diploma in Labour Law, preferred.

• 5–10 years in HR, including at least 3 years in a manufacturing plant handling 250+ workers.

• Working knowledge of labour law and company law. Hands-on with the EPFO and ESIC portals.

• Experience conducting domestic enquiries and dealing with labour authorities.

• Strong command and presence on the shop floor.

• Fluent Gujarati and Hindi; good written English for legal and statutory correspondence.

• Computer literate — MS Office; payroll or HRMS experience an advantage.

• Food & Beverage, FMCG or other manufacturing background preferred.

• Physically fit for a plant-based role requiring presence across shifts.

• Non-user of tobacco, gutkha or cigarettes — this is a food-grade facility.

• Based in Ahmedabad, or permanently settled here.

Salary: ₹50,000–65,000 per month, depending on experience and current CTC.
