Job Description

  • Create and modify 2D & 3D designs as per customer and production requirements.
  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings, assembly drawings, and manufacturing drawings.
  • Develop 3D models and assemblies using relevant CAD software.
  • Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) and maintain design-related documentation.
  • Understand manufacturing processes such as CNC, VMC, turning, milling, fabrication, and assembly.
  • Coordinate with the Production, Quality, Purchase, and Assembly teams for design-related requirements.
  • Modify existing designs according to production feedback and customer requirements.
  • Check dimensions, tolerances, fits, and drawing accuracy before releasing drawings.
  • Maintain proper revision control of drawings and design documents.
  • Support production during technical issues related to drawings and design.
  • Follow company standards and maintain confidentiality of technical drawings and designs.
  • Required SkillsGood knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D CAD software.
  • Knowledge of SolidWorks / Creo / NX / CATIA will be an advantage.
