A. Patient Consultation and Assessment

• Conduct patient consultations and assess skin, hair, and aesthetic concerns within the doctor’s qualifications and authorized scope of practice.
• Understand patient expectations, medical history, allergies, and contraindications.
• Recommend appropriate treatments and explain expected outcomes, risks, aftercare, and treatment costs.
• Obtain informed consent before procedures.

B. Aesthetic and Cosmetic Treatments

• Perform or supervise authorized aesthetic procedures according to qualifications, training, and clinical protocols.
• Provide suitable treatments such as:

• Hydrafacial and medical facials
• Chemical peels
• Skin polishing and exfoliation treatments
• Pigmentation and acne management
• Laser hair reduction
• Q-switched laser treatments
• Hair fall management and appropriate PRP/GFC procedures, where qualified and authorized
• Ensure correct equipment settings, infection-control measures, and treatment documentation.
• Refer complex cases, complications, and conditions requiring specialist dermatological care to the appropriate specialist.

C. Patient Follow-Up and Care

• Monitor treatment progress and patient response.
• Provide clear pre-treatment and post-treatment instructions.
• Schedule follow-up consultations and recommend further treatment only when clinically appropriate.
• Identify adverse reactions promptly and arrange appropriate medical management or referral.

D. Clinical Documentation and Compliance

• Maintain accurate patient records, medical histories, consent forms, treatment notes, and before-and-after photographs with appropriate consent.
• Follow clinic SOPs, hygiene standards, biomedical waste management rules, and applicable medical regulations.
• Check equipment readiness and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Protect patient confidentiality and medical information.

E. Patient Counselling and Ethical Practice

• Explain treatment benefits, limitations, risks, and alternatives honestly.
• Maintain professional communication and a patient-first approach.
• Support ethical treatment-plan counselling without making false guarantees or pressuring patients into purchasing packages.
• Coordinate with reception, therapists, counsellors, and branch management for smooth patient care.

F. Teamwork and Clinic Operations

• Participate in clinical training, staff meetings, and quality-improvement activities.
• Guide clinical staff on approved protocols within the doctor’s authority.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional treatment environment.
• Support patient satisfaction and service-quality improvement.
• 3. Qualifications and ExperienceMBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, or another relevant qualification may be considered only where legally eligible for the specific duties and procedures.
• A recognized dermatology or cosmetology qualification and relevant practical training are preferred.
• Experience in aesthetic clinics, laser procedures, chemical peels, and skin treatments is desirable.
• Valid professional registration wherever required.
• Good communication, patient counselling, and clinical documentation skills.

Important: Eligibility to perform medical procedures depends on the doctor’s recognized qualifications, registration, specific training, and applicable regulations. A cosmetology certificate alone does not authorize every medical or laser procedure.
