Merchandiser

A Merchandiser is responsible for managing product displays, monitoring stockavailability, coordinatingwith suppliers and sales teams, and ensuring productsare properly presented to attract customersand increase sales.

• Key Roles and ResponsibilitiesProduct Display: Arrange and display products attractively according tocompany guidelinesand promotional plans.
• Stock Management: Monitor stock levels, check product availability, andreport shortages ordamaged items.
• Market Visits: Visit retail stores and outlets to check product placement,visibility, pricing,and availability.
• Sales Support: Coordinate with sales teams to achieve sales targets andimprove product performance.
• Inventory Control: Maintain records of stock movement, deliveries, andinventory updates.
• Promotional Activities: Implement promotional campaigns, offers, and point-of-sale displays.
• Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitors’ products, prices, displays, andpromotional activities.
• Reporting: Prepare daily or weekly reports on stock, sales, market feedback,and display conditions.
• Coordination: Communicate with retailers, distributors, suppliers, and internalteams to ensuresmooth operations.
• Customer Satisfaction: Ensure products are available, properly displayed,and presented accordingto quality standards.
• Required SkillsGood communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Knowledge of inventory management and product display.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Excel.
