Summary:
As an Application Tech Support Practitioner, a typical day involves serving as the primary liaison between clients and the system or application environment. This role requires maintaining continuous communication to ensure smooth operation of high-quality systems. The practitioner dedicates time to understanding client concerns thoroughly, accurately identifying issues, and designing effective resolutions. The position demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to sustaining system reliability and client satisfaction through consistent engagement and support.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to streamline communication channels between teams to enhance operational efficiency.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SUSE Linux Administration.
- Strong knowledge of Linux system architecture, including kernel, file systems, and process management.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex system and application issues in Linux environments.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages to optimize system administration tasks.
- Ability to monitor system performance and implement tuning measures to ensure stability and efficiency.
- Understanding of security best practices and patch management within Linux systems.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SUSE Linux Administration.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
