Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Zabbix Monitoring & Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Zabbix 6.0 LTS and 7.0 LTS enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, administering, automating, and supporting enterprise monitoring solutions across Windows, Linux, network, database, application, and cloud platforms.
The role requires expertise in Zabbix administration, template development, API integrations, scripting, automation, platform upgrades, troubleshooting, and client interaction. The candidate should possess strong communication skills and a proactive approach to solving complex monitoring challenges.
Roles & Responsibilities
Administer, maintain, and support enterprise-scale Zabbix monitoring environments.
Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot Zabbix Servers, Proxies, Agents, and Frontend components.
Perform Zabbix version upgrades, migrations, patching, and platform health assessments.
Design and develop reusable Zabbix templates, discovery rules, triggers, dashboards, and alerting mechanisms.
Develop monitoring solutions for Windows, Linux/Unix, databases, middleware, applications, network devices, and cloud infrastructure.
Implement agent-based and agent-less monitoring solutions.
Develop automation scripts and operational tools using Python and Shell scripting.
Develop and maintain integrations using Zabbix APIs, REST APIs, and webhooks.
Troubleshoot monitoring, performance, alerting, and data collection issues.
Collaborate with Infrastructure, Network, Security, Database, and Application teams to implement monitoring solutions.
Participate in customer discussions, technical reviews, service improvement initiatives, and operational support activities.
Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, technical documentation, and knowledge articles.
Support business-critical environments operating in a 24x7 support model.
