Project Role Description : Define and build a capability that does not currently exist. Develop industry position papers on the capability and help define a practice from incubation to growth stages. Participate in business development activities and act as a subject matter expert for the technical and functional design of the capability, which can be leveraged or implemented at multiple clients.

Summary:
In the role of Business Capability Architect, a typical day involves defining and constructing new business capabilities that are not yet established within the organization. This includes developing comprehensive industry position papers to articulate the value and scope of these capabilities. The role requires guiding the evolution of these capabilities from initial incubation through to growth phases, ensuring they are robust and scalable. Additionally, the position involves active participation in business development efforts and serving as a subject matter expert, providing insights and guidance on both technical and functional aspects of the capability to support implementation across various client environments. Collaboration and strategic thinking are key components throughout the day to drive innovation and practical application of new business solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and refinement of business capabilities to align with organizational goals and client needs.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices within and across teams to enhance overall capability maturity.
- Support junior team members by providing mentorship and guidance to foster professional growth.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and outcomes related to capability development.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Retail.
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing retail business processes using SAP solutions.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into scalable technical and functional designs.
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate business capabilities effectively.
- Skilled in developing documentation and frameworks that support capability incubation and growth.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering practical and innovative solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP for Retail.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
