As a Solutions Analyst III in Commercial & Investment Bank Payments Technology team, you will aid in bridging the gap between product owners, business, operations, and software developers by leveraging your technical fluency and strong analytical reasoning skills. Your responsibilities will include eliciting and documenting business and data flow requirements, translating them into well-structured and technically feasible solutions. Your adaptability and ability to lead through change will enable you to navigate complex situations and manage dependencies effectively. With a strong foundation in data analytics and technical solutions, you will contribute to the development of innovative architecture designs and data-driven insights that guide business decisions. Your excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, will ensure clear and concise information exchange with diverse stakeholder audiences, fostering collaboration and alignment across departments.

 

Job responsibilities

• Elicit and document comprehensive business and data flow requirements by engaging with product owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure alignment and feasibility
• Translate complex business requirements into well-structured technical solutions, leveraging data analytics and technical knowledge to optimize system performance and scalability
• Conduct in-depth data analysis and interpretation to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities, providing actionable insights that support decision-making and key business initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain architecture designs, policies, standards, and governance processes that align technology with business strategy
• Continuously enhance technical knowledge and stay current with industry trends, ensuring the application of best practices and innovative solutions to address evolving business needs
• Uses enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate requirements synthesis, solution optioning, and architecture documentation, validating outputs and handling data according to sensitivity and security requirements

 

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

 

• 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in solutions analysis, technical program delivery, or a related field. 

• Knowledge of financial payments and commercial account/liquidity products. 

• Experience of using Atlassian Jira for requirements capture and technical backlog management. 

• Experience of using Atlassian Confluence and Lucid Charts for technical documentation and diagramming. 

• Exposure to agile methodologies such as Scrum, CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security. 

• Experience of working alongside software engineers to help rapidly synthesize, distil, translate, and clarify complex business process into clear written technical requirements. 

• Knowledge of non-functional requirements and brokering these with the business and technology to enable delivery of high-quality reliable software solutions. 

• Hands-on experience of advanced data visualization and presentation.  Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle. 

• Strong technical writing skills, with a proven track record of translating complex information into clear and concise documentation for diverse stakeholder audiences. 

• Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support solutions analysis workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity. 

• Ability to review and validate AI-assisted analyses and recommendations before use, escalating when uncertain and following data handling expectations

 

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills  

 

• Foundational awareness of cloud technologies (e.g. AWS Cloud Practitioner).
• Demonstrated proficiency in data analytics, including experience with data extraction, data modelling, and interpretation to support strategic decision-making
