Senior Manager - Digital Procurement and Transformation Lead

Digital Procurement | Source-to-Pay Implementation, Automation & Transformation Leadership

ROLE SUMMARY

The Senior Manager will lead digital procurement transformation programs, helping organizations modernize procurement functions through technology enablement, process transformation, automation, supplier collaboration, and digital operating model design. The role requires deep experience in Source-to-Pay transformation, supplier management, manufacturing and logistics procurement environments, and procurement technology implementation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Digital Procurement Transformation

• Lead large-scale digital procurement transformation initiatives across Source-to-Pay, Procure-to-Pay, sourcing, supplier management, and contract management.
• Define future-state digital procurement strategies, implementation roadmaps, and transformation governance models.
• Drive procurement process standardization, automation, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Partner with business, procurement, technology, and operations stakeholders to translate transformation priorities into structured execution plans.
• Support digital operating model design, including roles, responsibilities, governance forums, adoption approach, and performance management cadence.

Source-to-Pay Implementation Leadership

• Lead end-to-end Source-to-Pay implementation programs across process design, requirements definition, functional design, testing, deployment, and adoption.
• Manage business requirements, process harmonization, supplier enablement, training, issue resolution, and go-live readiness activities.
• Support supplier onboarding, supplier collaboration, and procurement digitization initiatives to improve buying channels, compliance, and user experience.
• Provide leadership during platform implementation and transformation programs, with relevant exposure to SAP Ariba, Coupa, and other digital procurement platforms.
• Ensure implementation activities are aligned with procurement objectives, delivery timelines, change impacts, and measurable business outcomes.

Supplier & Vendor Management

• Drive supplier relationship management and supplier performance transformation initiatives.
• Develop supplier governance frameworks, onboarding models, and vendor performance management processes.
• Support supplier risk, compliance, and operational performance improvement programs.
• Design practical supplier management processes covering performance reviews, issue escalation, governance cadence, and continuous improvement actions.
• Collaborate with procurement and business teams to improve supplier visibility, accountability, and delivery performance.

Manufacturing & Logistics Procurement

• Support procurement transformation initiatives within manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and operations environments.
• Drive procurement process improvements supporting production, warehousing, transportation, and supply chain operations.
• Support digital procurement integration across broader supply chain functions.
• Bring understanding of manufacturing supplier ecosystems, logistics service providers, operational procurement requirements, and cross-functional supply chain dependencies.
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency, supplier collaboration, material or service visibility, and process control across operations-led environments.

Automation & Innovation

• Identify opportunities for AI, analytics, workflow automation, and digital procurement innovation.
• Develop use cases for spend analytics, supplier intelligence, procurement automation, and operational efficiency improvements.
• Support automation roadmaps and digital improvement initiatives that improve process efficiency, compliance, visibility, and stakeholder experience.
• Promote the use of data-driven insights and digital tools to improve procurement decision-making and transformation outcomes.

Leadership & Business Development

• Lead engagement teams and manage stakeholder relationships across procurement, technology, operations, and senior leadership groups.
• Support proposals, opportunity development, solutioning, and procurement transformation pursuits.
• Mentor team members and contribute to practice capability building initiatives.
• Develop reusable assets, implementation templates, playbooks, and best-practice documentation for digital procurement transformation delivery.
• Contribute to recruitment, knowledge-sharing sessions, and internal training programs that strengthen procurement transformation capability.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• 10-15+ years of procurement transformation, digital procurement, or consulting experience.
• Strong expertise in Source-to-Pay processes and procurement technology enablement.
• Experience with SAP Ariba, Coupa, and leading digital procurement platforms.
• Experience managing supplier performance, vendor management, and supplier enablement programs.
• Exposure to manufacturing, logistics, and broader supply chain transformation environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and program leadership skills.
• Ability to lead complex transformation workstreams, manage senior stakeholders, and drive delivery outcomes across business and technology teams.
• Experience supporting business development, proposal development, solution design, and practice capability-building activities.
