Good to have skills : AWS Administration, Microsoft Azure Architecture

Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves executing the configuration management plan under the guidance of the Configuration Lead. The role includes collaborating with team members to design software configurations and customizations that align with business process designs and application needs. This position requires careful attention to detail and coordination to ensure that software solutions are tailored effectively to support organizational objectives and operational workflows.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software configurations meet evolving business requirements.
- Document configuration changes and maintain accurate records to support audit and compliance needs.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and assisting with troubleshooting configuration issues.
- Continuously monitor and improve configuration management processes to enhance efficiency and quality.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SUSE Linux Administration.
- Good To Have Skills: Microsoft Azure Architecture, AWS Administration.
- Experience managing Linux-based environments with a focus on system stability and security.
- Ability to automate configuration tasks using scripting and configuration management tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills related to system configuration and software customization.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure concepts and integration with Linux systems.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SUSE Linux Administration.
- This position is based at our HDC3B - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
