Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Lead Full Stack Engineer with 10+ years of hands-on software development experience to design, architect, and deliver high-performance, scalable cloud applications. The role requires deep backend microservices expertise in Java and Spring Boot, strong frontend delivery capability using React.js, and proven experience in cloud-native application modernization, containerized deployment, engineering mentorship, and technical leadership. 

Responsibilities 

· Lead end-to-end technical implementations across backend services, frontend interfaces, integration layers, deployment workflows, and production support readiness. 

· Design, architect, and deliver scalable, secure, resilient, and high-performance cloud applications aligned with enterprise architecture standards. 

· Build and modernize backend microservices using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, event-driven patterns, and clean service boundaries. 

· Develop modern frontend client interfaces using React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, component-based design, reusable UI patterns, and API-driven integration. 

· Modernize legacy or monolithic application architecture into cloud-native, modular, scalable, and maintainable platforms. 

· Define technical approach, estimate implementation effort, guide engineering teams, and own delivery quality across sprints/releases. 

· Mentor developers on design patterns, coding standards, code review discipline, testability, performance engineering, and production-readiness practices. 

· Orchestrate application deployments using Docker and Kubernetes across cloud environments while coordinating with DevOps, platform, security, and QA teams. 

· Drive CI/CD adoption, automated build and release practices, environment configuration management, observability, and deployment governance. 

· Troubleshoot complex production issues, review logs and metrics, improve performance bottlenecks, and ensure application reliability and operational stability. 

Mandatory Skill sets:

Backend Engineering - Java / Spring Boot 

· Strong hands-on experience in Core Java, Java 8+, collections, multithreading, exception handling, design patterns, and enterprise application development. 

· Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data/JPA, Hibernate, RESTful API development, API versioning, and microservices architecture. 

· Experience designing scalable service-to-service communication, API contracts, error handling, resiliency, caching, transaction management, and secure backend services. 

· Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL, with practical experience in data modelling, query optimization, schema design, and database integration. 

· Ability to create technical designs, review architecture decisions, and guide teams on backend implementation best practices. 

Frontend Engineering - React.js 

· Strong experience in React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, ES6+, component lifecycle, hooks, state management, routing, forms, validation, reusable components, and frontend performance optimization. 

· Experience integrating React applications with REST APIs, handling asynchronous calls, browser debugging, API error handling, and responsive UI development. 

· Knowledge of frontend build tooling, package management, unit testing, accessibility basics, and secure frontend development practices. 

· Ability to collaborate with UX, product, backend, and QA teams to deliver clean, maintainable, and user-friendly client interfaces. 

Cloud, DevOps and Containerization 

· Hands-on experience with Docker for containerization, image creation, configuration, environment management, and deployment packaging. 

· Good working knowledge of Kubernetes concepts such as pods, deployments, services, ingress, config maps, secrets, scaling, and rollout/rollback strategies. 

· Experience working with cloud environments and cloud-native deployment practices; exposure to Azure, AWS, or GCP is preferred. 

· Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or equivalent platforms. 

Architecture, Modernization and Leadership 

· Proven experience in application modernization, decomposition of monoliths, microservices adoption, API-led integration, and cloud migration initiatives. 

· Ability to define solution architecture, technical roadmap, non-functional requirements, engineering standards, and implementation governance. 

· Experience leading engineering teams, mentoring developers, conducting technical reviews, resolving blockers, and aligning delivery with business priorities. 

· Strong ownership of code quality, security, performance, scalability, reliability, maintainability, and production-readiness. 

What Is Necessary for This Role 

· 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with demonstrated delivery ownership in full stack enterprise applications. 

· Strong backend depth in Java and Spring Boot, not just coordination or team-management experience. 

· Practical React.js delivery experience with the ability to understand and guide frontend implementation decisions. 

· Prior experience designing or modernizing microservices-based architecture for scalable cloud applications. 

· Hands-on deployment exposure using Docker and Kubernetes; resource should be comfortable discussing containerization and cloud deployment flow. 

· Ability to lead technical discussions, mentor engineers, review code/design, and handle complex implementation decisions independently. 

· Strong communication skills for remote collaboration, stakeholder interaction, technical documentation, and cross-functional coordination. 

· Comfortable working in remote deployment model; profiles can be sourced from any location across India. 

Preferred skill sets

· Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, including managed services, identity/security, monitoring, and deployment patterns. 

· Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, message-driven architecture, distributed tracing, API gateways, service mesh, or caching platforms. 

· Experience with test automation practices using JUnit, Mockito, Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Selenium, or equivalent tools. 

· Knowledge of observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, AppDynamics, New Relic, or cloud-native monitoring services. 

· Exposure to secure coding, OWASP principles, vulnerability scanning, SonarQube, code quality gates, and compliance-driven development environments. 

· Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery, backlog refinement, sprint planning, estimation, release planning, and production incident support. 

Preferred Candidate Profile 

· A hands-on engineering lead who can contribute technically while also mentoring and guiding developers. 

· Strong full stack project experience with Java/Spring Boot backend and React.js frontend, preferably in enterprise or cloud application environments. 

· Comfortable owning architecture discussions, implementation quality, deployment readiness, production troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication. 

· Able to work effectively in a remote deployment model with distributed teams across India
