Position Overview

Oracle NetSuite Professional Services is seeking a Senior Principal Consultant with expertise in the Industrial & Equipment industry and a proven track record delivering complex NetSuite ERP implementations.

In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to customer executives and business stakeholders, leading ERP transformation initiatives from strategy and solution design through implementation and adoption. You will leverage deep NetSuite expertise, industry knowledge, and AI-enabled business capabilities to help customers modernize operations, improve decision-making, and achieve measurable business outcomes.

As a senior member of the consulting organization, you will provide solution leadership, mentor project teams, influence executive decision-making, and contribute to practice growth and business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Advisory & Solution Leadership

• Serve as a trusted advisor to customer executives, business leaders, and project sponsors.
• Lead discovery workshops, business process assessments, and solution design sessions.
• Develop transformation roadmaps aligned with customer objectives and NetSuite leading practices.
• Influence strategic business and technology decisions through industry expertise and solution recommendations.

 

NetSuite ERP Implementation

• Lead end-to-end NetSuite ERP implementations from discovery through go-live and stabilization.
• Architect and deliver solutions across Finance, Supply Chain, Inventory, Procurement, Order Management, Warehouse Operations, Demand Planning and Manufacturing.
• Define requirements for customizations, integrations, workflows, reporting, and automation initiatives.
• Partner with technical teams to design, validate, and deploy scalable business solutions.
• Ensure solution quality and adherence to NetSuite implementation methodologies.
• Advise customers on industry-leading practices across retail operations, merchandising, inventory management, demand planning, procurement, fulfillment, and direct-to-consumer business models.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, profitability, and scalability through process optimization and technology adoption.

AI-Enabled ERP Innovation

• Identify and implement AI-driven use cases within ERP transformation programs.
• Advise customers on leveraging Generative AI, Predictive Analytics, Intelligent Automation, and Oracle AI capabilities to improve business performance.
• Support AI adoption strategies, governance considerations, and business value realization initiatives.

Leadership & Practice Development

• Mentor consultants and provide functional leadership across engagements.
• Support pre-sales activities, solution reviews, estimations, and proposal development.
• Contribute to reusable assets, implementation accelerators, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Maintain expertise in NetSuite products, industry trends, and emerging technologies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, Commerce, or a related discipline. 
• 6–10 years of ERP consulting, manufacturing transformation, supply chain transformation, or enterprise applications experience. 
• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on Oracle NetSuite ERP consulting and implementation experience (mandatory). 
• Proven experience leading multiple end-to-end NetSuite ERP implementation projects in customer-facing consulting environments. 
• Strong expertise across NetSuite Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Inventory Management, Procurement, Demand Planning, Production Planning, Work Orders, Bill of Materials (BOM), Quality Management, Warehouse Management, Order Management, and Shop Floor Operations. 
• Deep understanding of manufacturing business processes, including procure-to-pay, plan-to-produce, inventory management, quality control, demand forecasting, production scheduling, fulfillment, and supply chain execution. 
• Experience defining requirements for complex customizations, integrations, workflows, reporting, manufacturing automation, and operational analytics solutions. 
• Demonstrated ability to engage and influence Plant Managers, Operations Leaders, Supply Chain Directors, Manufacturing Directors, VP-level stakeholders, and C-level executives. 
• Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to communicate complex business and technical concepts effectively to executive stakeholders, business users, operations teams, and technical teams. 
• Strong requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, business process mapping, value-stream analysis, solution design, and executive presentation capabilities. 
• Proven ability to manage multiple customer engagements and competing priorities simultaneously while maintaining high-quality delivery, customer satisfaction, and project timelines. 
• Strong project leadership skills with experience managing scope, risks, dependencies, stakeholder expectations, and implementation milestones across multiple concurrent projects. 
• Ability to synthesize manufacturing and supply chain requirements, solution recommendations, business cases, and implementation roadmaps into clear and compelling customer communications. 
• Strong business process consulting and transformation experience across manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, inventory, and operations functions.
• Experience implementing or advising on AI-enabled ERP solutions leveraging Generative AI, Intelligent Automation, Predictive Maintenance, Production Analytics, Demand Forecasting, or Supply Chain Optimization capabilities

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturing industry experience in Discrete Manufacturing, Industrial Manufacturing, Consumer Products Manufacturing, Electronics, Medical Devices, Automotive Suppliers, Food & Beverage, Chemical Processing, or High-Tech Manufacturing. 
• NetSuite ERP Consultant, SuiteFoundation, or NetSuite Manufacturing Certification. 
• Experience with NetSuite Advanced Manufacturing, WMS, Demand Planning, Supply Chain Planning, Quality Management, Advanced Inventory, Procurement, and Production Scheduling solutions. 
• Experience integrating NetSuite with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), SCM platforms, EDI solutions, logistics providers, CRM applications, and other enterprise systems. 
• Experience supporting executive presentations, solution architecture reviews, business transformation workshops, and pre-sales engagements. 
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, MRP, S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning), Inventory Optimization, Quality Management Systems (QMS), and Continuous Improvement methodologies. 
• Experience with KPI development and operational reporting for production efficiency, inventory performance, quality metrics, on-time delivery, and supply chain visibility.

Location & Work Schedule

• Location: Hyderabad or Bengaluru, India
• Work Schedule: This role supports North American customers and project teams and requires regular alignment with North America business hours (night shift in India).
• Comfortable working in a customer-facing consulting environment with global stakeholders and cross-functional Oracle teams.

6-8 years of experience relevant to this position including 3-4 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
