Job description:

 

Job Title: Technical Scrum Master (Java/Python/Angular)

 

Location: Pune, India
Experience: 5–12 years

Role Overview

We are seeking a Technical Scrum Master who combines Agile leadership with hands-on technical expertise. The ideal candidate will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, coach teams on Agile best practices, remove impediments, and drive successful sprint delivery while also contributing to development activities using Java/Python/Angular during available capacity. 

 

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement. 
• Coach and mentor teams on Agile/Scrum principles and continuous improvement. 
• Identify and remove delivery impediments, risks, and dependencies. 
• Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure effective backlog management and sprint execution. 
• Track and report Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown, and sprint progress. 
• Contribute hands-on to software development, code reviews, debugging, and technical design discussions when capacity permits. 
• Support delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions using Java and/or Angular technologies. 

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of Scrum Master experience in Agile environments
• Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile delivery practices
• Understanding of API design and web security best practices
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile tools
• Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. 

Technical Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java/Python/Angular development
• Proficiency in:
  • Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs or Python, Flask, FastAPI webservices
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular

Preferred Certifications 

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) 
• Professional Scrum Master (PSM) 
• SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)
