Summary:
As a Data Modeler, a typical day involves engaging closely with various stakeholders including business representatives, data owners, end users, application designers, and data architects. The role focuses on understanding existing data structures and designing new data models that align with business needs and technical requirements. This position requires continuous collaboration to ensure data models are accurate, efficient, and support the organization s objectives. The Data Modeler plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business goals and technical implementation by facilitating clear communication and thorough analysis of data requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and maintenance of data models to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to align data strategies with organizational goals.
- Mentor junior team members by providing guidance and support in data modeling best practices.
- Continuously evaluate and improve data modeling processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data requirements and translate them into effective data models.
- Experience with database design principles and relational database management systems.
- Ability to work with data architecture frameworks and understand enterprise data management concepts.
- Familiarity with data governance and data quality standards to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies.
- This position is based at our DDC 1 - STPI office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
