Job Summary –

A Senior Cloud Engineer Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure. Play a key role in migrating from on-premises and PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry) platforms to AWS, leading container orchestration, infrastructure-as-code, and modern DevOps practices to support mission-critical applications.

Skills Experience

• 10+ years hands-on cloud engineering / infrastructure experience, with significant AWS depth.
• AWS certification required (e.g. Solutions Ar1hitect Associate/Professional or DevOps Engineer); advanced/Professional-level certifications preferred.
• Strong containerisation (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS) experience; proficient with Terraform.
• Solid networking fundamentals (VPC, subnets, routing, load balancing, DNS) and deep cloud security and IAM understanding.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions); scripting in Python, Bash, or Go; strong Linux administration.
• Preferred: PCF/Cloud Foundry-to-AWS migration, service mesh/API gateways/microservices, observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Datadog), regulated environments (banking/financial services, PCI-DSS), and GitOps workflows (Argo CD, Flux).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage secure, scalable AWS infrastructure across EKS, ECS, EC2, VPC, IAM, S3Design and manage secure, scalable AWS infrastructure across EKS, ECS, EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, and RDS.
• Automate repeatable, version-controlled provisioning with Terraform (infrastructure-as-code).

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Manage cloud networking, security, load balancing, DNS, encryption, secrets, and least-privilege access.
• Monitor infrastructure — implement logging, metrics, and s, and respond to incidents.
• Optimise cloud costs through right-sizing, autoscaling, and FinOps governance.
• Provide cloud architecture leadership, mentor engineers, and collaborate across development, security, and platform teams.
