Technology->Cloud Platform->Amazon Webservices DevOps Key Responsibilities: • Lead AWS DevOps initiatives across build, release, deployment, and operations for multiple environments. • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable consistent, automated, and repeatable deployments. • Drive Infrastructure as Code practices to provision and manage AWS resources reliably and at scale. • Establish operational best practices for monitoring, alerting, incident response, and post-incident reviews. • Partner with development teams to improve deployment frequency, reduce lead time, and increase release quality. • Ensure security and compliance controls are embedded into pipelines and cloud operations (DevSecOps mindset). • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement preventive automation and fixes. • Mentor team members, conduct reviews for pipeline/IaC changes, and promote standards and reusable templates. Minimum Qualifications: • 5–9 years of overall experience with strong, hands-on focus in AWS DevOps and cloud operations. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (BTECH/BCA/MCA/MTECH) or equivalent practical experience. • Proven experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines for production-grade applications. • Strong understanding of AWS services, cloud networking basics, IAM/security fundamentals, and deployment strategies. • Experience supporting production environments with monitoring, incident handling, and reliability improvements. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience implementing advanced CI/CD patterns such as blue-green/canary deployments and automated rollbacks. • Strong expertise with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management to standardize environments. • Experience with containerization and orchestration for cloud-native deployments on AWS. • Ability to define DevOps KPIs (deployment frequency, MTTR, change failure rate) and drive measurable improvements. • Experience collaborating with security teams to integrate vulnerability scanning, policy checks, and secrets management into CI/CD. • Prior experience leading/mentoring DevOps engineers and driving cross-team alignment on release and operational processes.
