IBM Z Mainframe EAI Engineer

As an Integration Engineer you should have

strong development experience using IBM mainframes zOS

In depth knowledge of standardstechnologies and worked on DB2 and CICS

Knowledge of API integration technologies including zOS Connect EE or equivalent mainframe API frameworks

Understanding of synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns

Basic understanding of analyzing COBOL programs

Strong experience in designing and developing COBOL applications

Familiar with Omegamon for monitoring CICS regions

Used tools like Endeavor Changeman

Handson experience in production support handling routine incidents and possess basic knowledge of TWS scheduling

Proficiency with Fault Analyzer and Dump readingAnalysis that would be added advantage

Should have strong experience in all areas of SDLC

Good experience in analyzing businessfunctional requirements

Capability of performing tasks individually and Supporting Development Team

Excellent interpersonal and writtenspoken communication skills

Experience with IBM MQ messaging

General Skills

Leads the analysis design development performance tuning and testing activities for integration areas

Shares knowledge and drives understanding of integration best practices across the application development teams

Creates and maintains technical design and support documentation

Uses past integration experience to solve complex issues and develop quality supportable solutions that adhere to standards

Leads daytoday development and maintenance activities

Contributes to defining and estimating timelines costs and feasibility for integration projects

Designs andor documents process models and flows rules and solutions

Undertake production support responsibilities on a rotational basis along with other colleagues in team

Knowledge experience of agile working

Excellent communication skills both oral and written

Good to have knowledge of ITIL

Banking Finance background would be beneficial
