Skills:   SAP Database Administrator

  • Primary Skills: SAP HANA
  • Secondary Skills: Oracle DBA, SAP MAXDB, MSSQL and MongoDB

Job Description:   SAP Database Administrator

Maintaining and managing the Various Databases like SAP HANA, MAXDB, DB2 and MSSQL.

Perform the upgrades / Migrations.

Roles & Responsibilities: 

  • Work on Database Alerts.
  • Work on service requests.
  • Work on Incidents and adhoc Requests.
  • Work on maintenance activities.
  • Perform Patching on DB servers.
  • Perform Database backups and restore.
  • Perform Table optimization.
  • Perform Data Reclaim activities. 
  • Support Performance issues and optimization.
  • Database Refresh and Restore from Non-prod to Prod.
  • Create the Users and provide the required access.
  • User management activities.
  • Database availability checks.
  • Replication related issues.
  • Work on High CPU utilization issues.

 

Required Technical/ Functional Competencies

Skills:   SAP Database Administrator

Biztalk and Azure Certification, AZ104, Oracle Certified Expert (OCE) Desirable: Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Service on Citrix Cloud Certified (CC-VAD-CC), CISSP, SDN Certification, OCS, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
Mandatory - ITIL V4 foundation
Mandatory: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate(AZ-104)/ Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate Microsoft Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Azure Data Scientist, Microsoft Certified Azure Data Engineer
Professional Certifications in at least two Storage Technologies
