Job Description

The Team

The Fund Operations team supports the Real Estate business through fund reporting, data management, investor communications, and operational processes. The team is responsible for maintaining key performance and financial datasets, including PM Summaries, Debt Databases, NOI and CAPEX trackers, Fund Performance Reports, and investor-related documentation. The role offers exposure to Real Estate Fund Operations, portfolio reporting, and collaboration with global stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality deliverables.

Your Role

• Support the Fund Operations team in preparing and maintaining fund performance, quarterly, consultant, and client reports.
• Update and maintain key operational databases and trackers, including PM Summaries, Debt Databases, NOI, CAPEX, and other portfolio reporting tools.
• Download, validate, and analyze financial data from Yardi and other real estate platforms to support reporting activities.
• Prepare and maintain property, asset, and portfolio-level attributes, historical information, and current data on a periodic basis.
• Upload and manage investor communications and key documentation through platforms such as Intralinks.
• Support investor servicing activities, including the distribution of NAV statements, capital call notices, and distribution notices.
• Maintain KYC and investor information within Investran and other internal systems.
• Perform data validations, reconciliations, and quality checks to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.
• Follow established procedures, SOPs, and controls while meeting defined service levels and deadlines.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to resolve data and reporting queries.
• Support ad-hoc operational, reporting, and data management requests as required.
• Demonstrate a proactive approach toward process improvement and continuous learning.

The Experience You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in client reporting, fund administration, fund operations, real estate operations, or related financial services functions.
• Experience with Yardi, Investran, or similar investment management platforms is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to work with structured datasets and financial information.
• Understanding of financial statements, fund structures, and reporting processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple deliverables and prioritize work effectively.
• Strong interest in developing a career in real estate, asset management, or financial services.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.

Technical Competencies

• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Ability to prepare, review, and maintain fund performance and investor reports.
• Data Management: Experience maintaining operational databases, trackers, and performing data quality validations.
• Systems Knowledge: Exposure to Yardi, Investran, Intralinks, or similar real estate and fund administration platforms is preferred.
• Microsoft Excel: Ability to organize, analyze, reconcile, and report financial and operational data.

Academic Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
• MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Finance is an advantage.
• Educational background with exposure to financial markets, investments, real estate, or fund operations preferred.
