Summary:
As a Database Administrator, a typical day involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust database systems to support organizational needs. This role includes installing database management systems and developing comprehensive procedures to ensure smooth daily operations. The position requires continuous monitoring and troubleshooting to resolve any issues promptly, ensuring data integrity and availability. Collaboration with various teams to align database functionality with business requirements is also a key aspect of the daily routine, fostering an environment of reliability and efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the implementation of best practices in database management to optimize performance and security.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical skills and professional growth.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to understand database requirements and translate them into effective solutions.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP MM Materials Management.
- Strong knowledge of database architecture, design, and deployment strategies.
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of database systems.
- Ability to develop and implement backup and recovery plans to safeguard data.
- Familiarity with database security protocols and compliance standards.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving complex database issues efficiently.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP MM Materials Management.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
