Job Description

Functional Knowledge

• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• High level Process Management knowledge for O2C - Simple, medium, complex activities for O2C.
• Intense focus on SLAs, VoC, governance, client engagement and service delivery
• SAP knowledge strongly preferred.
• Strong people management skills - leading large teams or projects
• Process improvement methodology: Has process improvement acumen.

Account Management

• Knows the counterparts at client side and maintains a supportive and professional relationship with them
• Brings in domain understanding to identify pain areas of the client, recommend solutions, and ensure successful implementation of solutions

Transition Management

• Prior Transition experience is preferred.

Customer Orientation

• Understands the client's expectations at the process level and not just his / her role level; delivers against these expectations and as per SLAs
• Seeks and reviews customer feedback and takes proposed actions to ensure that client expectations are met better
• Takes ownership of solution oriented, effective communication with customers on issues raised, findings and proposed resolution.

Accountability

• Is proactive in identifying and removing obstacles; ropes in support of others in advance to ensure that results are delivered as expected

Collaboration & Teamwork

• Drives collaboration and team work to meet the larger goals down the line with own and other teams
• Brings teams and people together to establish common goals and common understanding of deliverables; clarifies how each piece fit the larger picture
• Extends oneself and own resources to support and facilitate others in their deliveries
• Addresses problems and finds solutions by working within and between WNS teams, including consultation with and/or escalation to other towers when required.

Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving

• Analyzes and resolves complex process-related problems.
• Assesses potential solutions through various filters of cost, time, resources, quality etc.; arrives at the best possible fit.
• Engages in problem solving outside own sub-process; leads brainstorming and other such idea generation forums to resolve issues; puts in place governance framework and control mechanisms to ensure that problems do not get repeated
• Proposes, coordinates, and drives implementation of process improvements along with the transformation team.

Communication Skills

• Presents to a wide set of audience within and outside WNS
• While he / she prepares thoroughly, is also able to speak spontaneously and sets an easy rapport with the audience
• Responds to others and demonstrates an engaging manner in communication rather than coming from own viewpoint only
