The Impact you will have in this role:

Seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled professional with strong hands-on experience in ApptioOne and Oracle SQL/PLSQL to support and enhance our IT Financial Management (ITFM) platform. The role will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing ApptioOne cost models, allocations, reporting, and integrations while partnering with Finance, Technology, and Business stakeholders to deliver accurate financial insights and operational efficiencies. The ideal candidate will combine deep expertise in ApptioOne with strong Oracle database development skills and experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, chargeback/showback, and month-end financial processes.

Your Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ApptioOne cost models, allocations, business mappings, and reporting solutions.
• Configure and support Budget, Forecast, Actuals, Showback, and Chargeback processes within ApptioOne.
• Develop and optimize allocation strategies, drivers, and financial models aligned with business requirements.
• Troubleshoot data quality issues, allocation discrepancies, and model performance challenges.
• Build and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and executive-level financial insights.
• Support annual budget, forecast, and month-end close cycles within the Apptio environment.
• Perform impact assessments and implement configuration changes for new business requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and database objects.
• Develop ETL/data transformation logic supporting ApptioOne integrations and data loads.
• Analyze and optimize SQL performance and database processing efficiency.
• Create reconciliation, validation, and control reports to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Help build integrations with other enterprise systems using Rest API and batch integration
• Document technical designs, process flows, and operational support procedures.
• Collaborate with other developers and testers to build solutions

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of related experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Talents Needed for Success:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting ApptioOne. 
• 5+ years of strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development experience. 
• Experience with Apptio TBM Studio, Cost Transparency, Planning, or related ApptioOne modules. 
• Strong understanding of IT Financial Management (ITFM) and Technology Business Management (TBM) concepts. 
• Experience developing complex allocations, cost models, and financial reporting solutions. 
• Strong experience with relational databases, query optimization, and performance tuning. 
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Apptio TBM Certified Professional certification.
• Experience supporting Budget, Forecast, Actuals, Chargeback, and Showback processes.
• Experience with Oracle Database, Datawarehouse, ODI or similar integration tools.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud.
• Familiarity with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) processes.
• Experience supporting Month-End Close and financial reconciliation activities.
• Experience leading small projects.

• Ability to independently develop SQL/PLSQL solutions supporting enterprise financial processes.
• Strong understanding of IT cost transparency, budgeting, forecasting, and chargeback methodologies.
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional business and technology stakeholders.
