Job Description: Semiconductor Transformation & Advisory Consultant - Principal

Position Overview:

An experienced Semiconductor Transformation & Advisory Consultant to serve as a trusted advisor to leading semiconductor clients, helping them navigate strategic, operational, and technology-led transformation initiatives. The role requires a combination of deep semiconductor industry expertise and consulting experience, with the ability to advise senior stakeholders on emerging industry trends, business challenges, operating model evolution, digital transformation, and growth opportunities across the semiconductor value chain.

Key Responsibilities:

Possess deep understanding of the semiconductor industry, including semiconductor design, manufacturing, foundry, OSAT, equipment, and supply chain ecosystems. Ability to advise clients on key industry trends such as AI-driven chip demand, advanced packaging, chiplets, semiconductor supply chain resilience, and manufacturing modernization

• Strategic Roadmapping and Operating Model Design: Develop transformation roadmaps and target operating models aligned to business strategy, with a strong understanding of semiconductor product lifecycles, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and go-to-market functions.
• Stakeholder and Governance Orchestration: Align executive sponsors, functional leaders, and ecosystem partners across semiconductor organizations, including Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Product Management stakeholders.
• Capability and Maturity Assessment: Assess process, technology, data, organization, and operational maturity across semiconductor value chains, benchmarking against industry-leading practices and identifying transformation opportunities
• Value Tree and Benefits Realization: Define value drivers, KPIs, and benefits realization frameworks focused on engineering productivity, manufacturing efficiency, supply chain resilience, innovation, and business growth.
• Workshop Facilitation and Storytelling : Facilitate executive workshops and translate complex semiconductor business and technology challenges into compelling strategic recommendations for senior stakeholders
• Regulatory, Quality, and Compliance Fluency: Apply understanding of semiconductor quality, risk, compliance, and operational control requirements to support transformation initiatives and governance frameworks.
• Data, Digital, and AI Literacy: Advise clients on the application of data, advanced analytics, AI, Industry 4.0, and digital technologies to enhance semiconductor engineering, manufacturing, and business performance.
• Product, Program, and Agile Delivery: Lead complex transformation programs across semiconductor enterprises, integrating product-centric delivery, agile methodologies, and PMO best practices.
• Change Management and Adoption: Drive organizational change, stakeholder alignment, and workforce adoption to support large-scale semiconductor transformation programs.
• Partner Ecosystem and Sourcing: Leverage understanding of the semiconductor ecosystem, including foundries, OSATs, equipment providers, technology partners, and strategic alliances, to support sourcing and ecosystem strategies.
• Pursuit Support: Bring semiconductor industry expertise to shape propositions, support pursuits, develop thought leadership, and contribute to client presentation0073.
• Account Management: Serve as a trusted advisor to semiconductor clients, building senior stakeholder relationships and identifying opportunities for strategic growth and transformation.
• Engagement Delivery: Oversee the successful delivery of transformation engagements for semiconductor clients, ensuring quality, value realization, and alignment with business objectives.

Qualifications:

• 12-15+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry and/or consulting engagements serving semiconductor clients.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor business models, product lifecycle, manufacturing operations, supply chain, and technology trends.
• Demonstrated credibility with senior stakeholders and a track record of driving transformation and growth initiatives within the semiconductor sector
• Proven track record of leading large-scale transformation initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
