Required Skills

• B.Tech or equivalent degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering with 6-10 yrs of experience

• 1. Good with engineering Fundamentals, Non-Metallics and Strength of Material

  2. Experienced in Technical Documentation

  3. Understand FAA certification processes for aircraft seating system.

  Review and interpret FAA regulations to ensure seat designs comply.

  4. Conduct structural analysis to assess the criticality of commercial seat configuration for certification under emergency and in-flight condition.

  5. Develop test plans and conduct structural dynamic, static, and HIC test, and prepare details reports to demonstrate compliance to applicable TSO and OEM airframe requirements.

  6. Creates and compiles FAA certification documentation for submittal to OEMs, Airline customers and Regulatory agencies .

  7. Work closely with design, manufacturing, supplier and vendors from certification perspective for compliance.

  8. Ensures successful completion of the assigned certification program within the budgeted time, quality and cost constraints.

  9.Excellent Communication (Written & Verbal)

  10.Good Presentation Skills and Ability to work independently

  11.Good team player, Adaptable and Flexible
