Deputy Manager - Forging
Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
- Hands on experience for inspection of Gears, Shafts and Machined components
- Well versed with all measuring instruments and method of inspection for Gears, Shafts & Machined components
- Well versed with New Product Development tools - APQP, VPPAP
- Well versed with processes - Forging, Gears & Shafts Manufacturing, Machined Components, Hardware's
- Should be able to identify FTG (Fixture, Tooling & Gauges) requirement for new development
- Should be able to calculate SBC and finalise technical sign off as per process flow
- Should be able to calculate Capex as per part requirement
- Should be able to manage and review the development as per time plan and project milestone with Suppliers
- Co-ordination with different teams like SQI, SSU, PCM, SCPC. Having good interpersonal Skills
- Capable to identify current capacities at supplier and Gap in capacity w.r.t plan
- Capable to do Material Management as per Project timeline and Milestones
- Good understanding of 7QC tools, MYB, MGB certification will be added advantage
- Ability to generate new ideas for Cost Reduction
- Well versed with SAP, MS Office
- Ready to relocate as per team's requirement.
